• Reading data: Books you log, reading sessions, time spent reading, pages read, notes, highlights, ratings, and reading goals you set.
• Optional profile information: Name or display name, if you choose to provide one.
• Support communications: Information you provide when contacting us for support or feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage analytics: We use third-party analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the App is used and to identify and fix bugs. This may include anonymized or pseudonymized data such as device type, iOS version, app version, feature usage patterns, session length, and crash logs.
• Device identifiers: Limited technical identifiers used solely for analytics and stability purposes, not for advertising.

2.3 Information Synced via iCloud

Oren uses Apple's iCloud to sync your data (such as your reading library, sessions, and settings) across your own devices signed into the same Apple ID. This data is:

• Stored within your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
• Not accessible to us. We do not operate our own servers to store your personal reading data, and we cannot view, access, or recover this data on your behalf.

2.4 Subscription and Purchase Information

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple, Inc. through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or full transaction history. We may receive limited, non-financial information from Apple (such as subscription status) to provide access to premium features.

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionality.
• Sync your reading data across your devices via iCloud.
• Diagnose technical issues, fix bugs, and improve app stability through crash reporting.
• Understand aggregate usage patterns to guide product improvements.

• Manage and validate your subscription status.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for targeted advertising, and we do not run any advertising or ad-tracking SDKs within the App.

• Reading data synced via iCloud is retained for as long as it exists in your iCloud account and is deleted when you delete it from the App or your iCloud storage.
• Analytics and crash data are retained by our analytics provider for a limited period (typically 12–24 months) for trend analysis, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
• If you delete the App, locally stored data is removed from your device, though iCloud-synced data may persist in your iCloud account until you remove it separately.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Because most of your reading data lives in your personal iCloud account, you can:

• Delete individual entries or your full reading history directly within the App.
• Manage or delete synced data via your iCloud settings (Settings → [Your Apple ID] → iCloud).
• Disable iCloud sync for the App at any time in iOS Settings.

We rely on Apple's platform-level security (including iCloud encryption) and reputable third-party providers with industry-standard security practices. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
