1. About Oren

Oren is a reading companion app that helps users track reading sessions, build reading habits, and gain insights into their reading activity. Oren is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 4 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Oren. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Oren on Apple-supported devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA).

In case of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA regarding the license itself, the Apple Standard EULA shall govern the underlying license grant, while these Terms govern your relationship with us, including subscriptions, support, and acceptable use.

4. Account & Data

Oren uses your Apple ID and iCloud to sync your data across your devices. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Apple ID.
• All reading data, notes, and content you enter into the App.
• Ensuring your device and iOS software meet the App's requirements.

We do not maintain our own user account system separate from your Apple ID and iCloud.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

• All purchases are billed and managed through your Apple ID via the App Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, as described in our Refund Policy.
• Pricing is displayed within the App prior to purchase and may vary by region.
• See our separate Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refund requests, which are handled by Apple.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems.
• Use the App to transmit any harmful, infringing, or unlawful content.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any subscription or payment mechanism.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, UI, graphics, logos, animations, text, and underlying code, is owned by Meticha Infotech Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, no rights are transferred to you. Any content you create within the App remains yours; you grant us no ownership over it.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Reading statistics, insights, and goal tracking are provided for motivational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, educational, or medical advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meticha Infotech Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
